Set it once. Change it when you need to.

Most of our customers run on a standing order: the same products on the same days, every week, with no ringing around.

  • Change quantities by 1pm the day before, in the portal or by phone.
  • Add a one-off for a busy weekend, a tournament or a tangi.
  • Pause the whole thing over the school holidays with one call.
  • We'll give you a heads-up before long weekends so you can bump it up.

04 Invoicing and credit

Your account, and the 20th.

Approved accounts get an invoice with every delivery and a statement every Monday. The month's account is due on the 20th of the following month.

Everything delivered in October is due on 20 November. Pay by direct credit or direct debit, whichever is easier for your books.

  • Credit accounts need a short credit application and two trade references. Most are approved within two working days.
  • Until then, or if you'd rather, pay weekly by card or direct debit.
  • Short or damaged? Tell the driver, or ring by 10am on delivery day, and it's credited on your next invoice.
  • Overdue accounts more than 14 days past the 20th are paused until they're squared up. We'll always ring first.
  • Prices exclude GST and are reviewed twice a year, with 30 days' notice.

05 Private label and custom bakes

Your name on the label. Our ovens behind it.

We bake for brands that aren't ours: supermarket own-label loaves, a cafe's signature pie, and school pie drives that raise real money.

  • Private label pies, loaves and slices from 200 units a run, with your branding.
  • Custom recipes developed with you over two or three tasting rounds.
  • Labels handled: ingredient lists, allergens, nutrition panels and barcodes.
  • Lead time about three weeks for a new product, five working days for repeats.

06 Food safety

Safe, labelled and traceable.

If your own food plan, a tender or a school board asks for evidence, we'll send it the same day.

FCP

Registered Food Control Plan

We operate under a registered Food Control Plan under the Food Act 2014, with independent verification visits and nightly records for temperatures, cleaning, cooling times and training.

ALG

Allergen management

Every SKU has an allergen matrix. Gluten-free lines are baked first on a separate shift, with dedicated trays, colour-coded utensils and a full wash-down beforehand. Nuts live in a sealed store.

LBL

Ingredient and nutrition labelling

Every pack carries the full ingredient list with allergens in bold, a nutrition information panel, a best-before or use-by date, storage instructions and a batch code that traces back to the flour lot.

07 FAQ

Questions we get asked at the dock.

Still stuck? The order line is open 7am to 3pm on weekdays.

Apply for a trade account
Do you sell to the public?

No. We're trade only and there's no shop front at the bakehouse. If you'd like our bread at home, ask for it at your local cafe or dairy.

Can I try the products before I open an account?

Yes. Once you've applied, we'll drop a tasting box on the next run that passes you, free of charge.

Do you do sale or return?

Not on standard lines, because it keeps everyone's prices down. Supermarket private label ranges can be set up with an agreed credit allowance.

How do I change my standing order?

Log in to the trade portal or ring the order line by 1pm the day before. Pausing for the holidays takes one call.

Are your gluten-free products safe for coeliacs?

Our gluten-free lines are baked first, on a separate shift with dedicated equipment, and batch tested. The bakehouse does handle wheat, so we give you the full allergen matrix to make the call for your customers.

Can you lend us a pie warmer?

Regular dairy and service station accounts can have a pie warmer on loan. Mention it in the notes when you apply.

What happens when the roads close?

We ring you before 6am with a new delivery time, and we hold or credit anything that can't get through.

Sounds like a fit? Get on the run sheet.
